Free Trade Zone Facility

Opened in 2013, our Shanghai clinical supply facility located in the free trade zone, is the first of its kind in China that can provide integrated solutions from comparator sourcing and full service packaging to cold chain storage and distribution. The facility serves global multinational and mid-tier pharma customers as well as local customers with trials in China and other Asia countries.

Mainland Facility

Opened in 2019, our 30,000 ft² Shanghai clinical supply facility located in Tangzhen provides customers with a mainland option and support their need to speed and efficiency of running trials in China including additional storage capacity, faster local distribution, and service for returns and destruction. Close to the airport and Zhangjiang Pharma valley, the new facility together with Catalent’s existing FTZ facility in Waigaoqiao, will provide customers with an optimized clinical supply solution for studies in both China and beyond.
