Catalent Experts to Discuss Evolving Strategies for Global Clinical Supply at Upcoming Conferences

SOMERSET, N.J. – November 18, 2021 — Catalent, a global leader in clinical supply services, today announced that three of its experts will be speaking on current market trends and strategies within the industry at two upcoming conferences, Outsourcing in Clinical Trials East Asia, and Outsourcing in Clinical Trials Southern California 2021.

First, at Outsourcing in Clinical Trials East Asia, Nicole Gray, Director of Strategic Supply Solutions, will present at 10:30 a.m. Korea Standard Time (KST) on Tuesday, Nov. 30. Her talk, entitled “Exploring Direct-to-Patient Clinical Supply Strategies for Multi-Country Decentralized Trials” will discuss several of the direct-to-patient models currently available, their benefits and possible limitations, and the option to combine one or more model into a hybrid approach that better meets the needs of trial sponsors and patients.

Additionally, on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. KST, Julie Delaney, Director of Project Management, APAC, will participate in a panel discussion entitled “Clinical Trials in Asia (Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, India)” to discuss efficient strategies to manage multiple countries’ regulations for global trials, and achieve increased productivity and high-quality results from all operation sites.

At Outsourcing in Clinical Trials Southern California 2021, which is being held at the Marriott San Diego La Jolla hotel on Dec. 7-8, Michael McNear, Director of Operations at Catalent’s new clinical supply facility in San Diego, will be presenting. His talk at 4:30 p.m. PST on Tuesday, Dec. 7, entitled “Strategies to Avoid Costly Errors When Supplying Early Phase Studies”, will discuss how to evaluate a prospective clinical supply partner, the benefits of integrated supply services, and understanding the role of a clinical supply manager in the strategic planning process.
